Ramping Up Preparations on the Road to Nairobi Innovation Week 2024

Events

Guess what? The Nairobi Innovation Week 2024 is drawing ever closer. Now as the organizers ramp the preparations, you should also get in gear to offer your best solution to some of our society’s numerous challenges.

Here is a chance for you to participate in the Faculties-based Hackathons and learn how to innovate!

The goal of the Hackathon is to prepare students to be job creators instead of job seekers, and that is an aspiration whose value cannot be overstated.

To motivate the innovators, the organizers of the Hackathons have decided to reward them. Accordingly, the top three winning ideas from each of the Faculties Hackathons will get a chance to participate in the final Nairobi Innovation Week 2024.

Here are the thematic areas in which you can come up with that innovative idea about which you cannot wait to tell the world:

  • Education
  • Fintech
  • Affordable housing
  • Health care
  • Environment and climate change
  • Cross-cutting Sectors
  • Food security & nutrition
  • Faculties
  • Agriculture
  • Art & Social Sciences
  • Built Environment & Design
  • Business Management & Sciences
  • Education
  • Engineering
  • Law
  • Health Sciences
  • Science & Technology
  • Veterinary Medicine
