Bridging Borders: Greenwich, UoN Unite to Discuss Fintech Innovations

March 4, 2025—The University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Business hosted a delegation from Greenwich University, London, for a captivating public lecture on the evolving landscape of financial technology (fintech). The event provided a vibrant platform for students and experts to delve into the rapid innovations shaping the financial sector and their implications for businesses and economies worldwide.

Dr. Anna Amstrong, an esteemed expert in fintech and cybersecurity from Greenwich University, took center stage to reveal how fintech is disrupting the finance industry and serving as a key driver of financial inclusion. She emphasized that advancements such as digital payments, blockchain, and artificial intelligence are swiftly transforming traditional banking systems, leading to more secure and accessible financial services.
